1. Who we are
This policy describes Nivora, a personal sewing workroom for logging fabric, thread, and hardware samples; pinning them into glass jars; browsing a craft community feed; and gathering AI studio renderings of swatches into your stash. The publisher of the Nivora iOS app is responsible for this policy as required by Apple App Store policies.
2. Information we collect
Nivora’s review workroom is designed to keep craft records on your iPhone. We collect only what the workroom needs to run:
- Workroom profile you choose. Display nickname, avatar photo, and a join caption stored locally after you tap Stitch In.
- Material logs you create. Material name, category (Fabric, Thread, Hardware), texture notes, stock amount, jar assignment, optional community caption, and photos you take or pick from the library.
- Community activity on this device. Follows, comments, reports, blocked crafters, and Gathered swatches (including the AI rendering saved to the stash).
- Brass Spool coins. Local coin balance, purchase credits, and the 100-coin Gather with AI spend. Apple purchase receipts are processed by Apple; Nivora records only that a consumable mill-ticket pack succeeded so coins can be added on this device.
- Device and diagnostics. Device type, iOS version, and crash / performance signals needed to keep the workroom stable.
- Attribution (optional). If you allow tracking, Adjust may receive advertising identifiers so we can understand which craft-related install path brought you to Nivora. You can refuse the tracking prompt; the workroom still functions.
Stitch In is required to enter the workroom tabs. We do not ask for email, phone number, or a password inside the review workroom, and we do not sync your jars or gathered swatches to a Nivora account server.
3. How we use it
- Show Daily Inspiration, Community (Following / Discover / Gathered), Jars, and Profile.
- Let you snap or import a swatch, publish a material card, comment, follow crafters, and report content.
- Run Gather with AI: your material name, category, and a short studio prompt are sent to OpenRouter so it can return a cardboard-pinned rendering for your stash. That prompt is used only to produce the image.
- Process consumable In-App Purchases of mill tickets (Pressed Linen Ticket, Silk Organza Snip, Wool Felt Ring, and other Supply Store packs) and credit Brass Spool coins locally.
- Prevent abuse of comments and reports, and comply with App Store and legal requests.
4. Third parties
- Apple. Sign-in with the App Store account on the device, StoreKit purchase processing, and optional App Tracking Transparency.
- Adjust. Install attribution and purchase analytics events. Adjust’s own policy applies to identifiers they process.
- OpenRouter. Gather with AI is fulfilled by OpenRouter (openrouter.ai). When you confirm, OpenRouter receives a text prompt derived from the material card and returns the studio rendering. We do not sell your swatch photos to advertisers. OpenRouter processes that request under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Retention and deletion
Workroom data (materials, jars, gathered swatches, coins, nickname, avatar) stays in on-device storage until you remove it. Use Unravel Account in Profile to wipe local studio data, then Leave the Workroom to sign out. Deleting the app also removes local records. Apple keeps its own purchase history according to Apple’s policies. Gather-with-AI prompts are not kept by Nivora after the rendering is saved or the request fails.
6. Children
Nivora is not directed at children under 13. The workroom includes a craft community feed with user-written captions and comments. If you are under 13, do not Stitch In. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will help you remove local data from the device.
7. Contact
Email clarahoffner24@outlook.com. We aim to reply within two business days.
8. Effective date
This Privacy Policy is effective 10 September 2026. We may update it when the workroom gains new pins or jars; the date at the foot of this page will change.
